Our team of Community Safety Officers ensures a safe and welcoming environment by patrolling the area, assisting visitors, and responding promptly to any concerns. We take great pride in our low crime rate and work closely with the NYPD on proactive efforts to foster a secure neighborhood for everyone.

Our Clean Team works 365 days a year to maintain a pristine and inviting atmosphere on Fifth Avenue. They are responsible for maintaining the sidewalks, removing litter, emptying trash receptacles, removing graffiti, and so much more.

We improve the aesthetic of our world-famous street through a variety of ongoing beautification projects, from maintaining our trees and green spaces to painting light poles and power washing sidewalks.

In addition to our essential services, we advocate for our district by engaging and collaborating with city agencies and elected officials to mitigate issues affecting our businesses, big or small. This can range from moving street signage, obtaining permits, legislation, and more.

Our marketing team is well-versed in the luxury retail and tourism environments, making FAA a trusted partner in marketing and special events for Fifth Avenue and its brands. We enhance Fifth Avenue through strategic partnerships, on-street experiences, and social media campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences worldwide.

We drive year-round promotion of our members and district happenings through marketing campaigns, press, social media and more. 

We plan exciting live events and activations that drive foot traffic to Fifth Avenue and create lasting memories.

We sell select sponsorships of our branded streetlamp banners and our district map. All revenue generated through sponsorships directly benefits our tenants and enriches the district.

Fifth Avenue is one of New York City’s key business districts, an economic engine for the metropolitan region and the shopping capital of the world. FAA has a long history of civic involvement and advocacy for a people-focused public realm in order to preserve the character of Fifth Avenue.

In December 2022, Mayor Adams announced “The Future of Fifth” partnership, bringing together The Fifth Avenue Association, Grand Central Partnership, Central Park Conservancy, and city agencies to transform the Fifth Avenue corridor from Bryant Park to Central Park into a world-class, pedestrian-centered boulevard. The plan includes wider sidewalks, safer crosswalks, and the addition of new plantings, trees, lighting and seating to ensure world-class experience for tenants and visitors alike.
